Knitwear – elegance in oversize

If you are not sensitive to the cold, choose fine knitwear for a light feel; and for the cold season or for outdoor activities in the transitional period, the thicker knitted sweaters and cardigans are ideal.

Why synthetic fibres at all?

Polyacrylic is often mixed with wool. Polyacrylic is a soft, fine material that not only retains heat particularly well, but also prevents the wool from matting when washed. Polyacrylic is also particularly elastic, adaptable and keeps its shape - making it the ideal material for oversized sweaters.

Polyester is a particularly light, fine and, above all, easy-care fiber that dries quickly and retains its shape very well. This makes the sweater crease- and iron-free. However, polyester is not a breathable material and is therefore not suitable for sportswear in which you sweat a lot - but it is all the more suitable for outerwear that is supposed to keep you warm.

Elastane is added to fabrics to increase their elasticity. It consists of polyethylene glycol, among other things, which gives it its high stretchability. Elastane ensures that clothing retains its shape well.

Large sizes – best materials

Most sweaters are made from a mix of high-quality materials, namely polyacrylic, elastane, polyester, (virgin) wool and cotton. If your skin is sensitive to synthetic fibers, stick to sweaters made from 100% cotton .

The choice is yours. With different sweater shapes you can accentuate your best features.

Round neck : perfect for narrow shoulders, long neck, narrow face.
V-neck : perfect for broad shoulders, short neck, round face; ideal for wearing under shirts

Pockets, button strips, zippers : Especially if you look quite broad between the hips and shoulders, breast pockets, playful button strips and zippers bring relief. You can set further fashion highlights with kangaroo pockets on the stomach or hoods, which often visually lengthen the figure.

We make sure that all our sweaters have a wide waistband and elastic ribbed cuffs on the wrists. This means that your sweater is comfortable to wear and doesn't cause any uncomfortable pressure points.
